Ive just got back from an event called "Fat N Funky" at Yates in Guildford. Its the best venue every Thursday to go and hear the finest real Garage, D&B and R'n'B sounds. Resident Matt Sims from 2-Cool Promotions supplies the sounds for the perfect warm-up.
BPM Promotions is still in talks with the management of Yates' (Guildford) for stealing the name "Fat 'n' Funky" which is a simmilar name to a BPM Promotions night held in Epsom.

Based at Po Na Nas, BPM Promotions ran a night called "Phat 'N' Phunky" every Thursday with the same resident DJ Matt Sims. The management of Yate's Guildford told BPM:
"We dont think we are stealing trade from you as you are based in Epsom."
However, BPM sees it as the same Thursaday night, with the same resident DJ, with the same style of music with a very simmilar name. BPM Promotions asked politely to the management of Yate's to change the name, but it looks as if things may have to be taken a little further than first expected.
